On many occasions when I’m out, complete strangers have complimented me on either my cut or the nice color and have asked me where I go. I do hair myself and am EXTREMELY picky!  I was in a bind and had to do something so I gave in and went to a salon I’ve never been to. I can’t explain the anxiety I get when I get my hair cut. It’s really long and I know exactly how I want it done, but I can never get anyone to get it right. Well Karyn did an AMAZING job! I felt bad, because I was telling her how I like it cut and kind of telling her how to do it. I finally gave up and said just do it I trust you! (I realize that I sometimes try to guide people through the haircut rather then just them do it..Sorry Karen   ) But I can’t believe how great it was! I left I went home and I didn’t have to pull my own shears out and fix it which is usually what I have to do lol! I highly recommend Karyn! She was amazing!

Absolutely love this place!! Very friendly and welcoming staff! Incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to listen to what you like/don’t like.  They have the best prices and are always offering specials. Gabby is absolutely amazing and is my go to person for weddings and social events. Everyone here is fantastic at what they do!

Scissor Hands has become my new go-to salon. I have tried several salons in Chicago, but I get the best service for the best price at Scissor Hands! I highly recommend this salon for its cutting and coloring services. I get bored with my hair color pretty easily, and Jayne is great at helping me achieve my desired look. She is an excellent stylist and is extremely knowledgeable about current trends. She is super friendly and really makes the appointments enjoyable!
